Huh, well, one would imagine it's still going to point to Hyrule's Magnetic North, regardless of being trapped in an illusion or not.
Also, one of the more useful compasses, the chime feature that indicated where you could find a key was not replicated since, and did provide a clue as to where to look to go onward.
