  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

ive been to many, but i hadthe very best time in 1986 fog hat, molly hatchet, and the outlaws at long horn ball room in dallas tx. the place held about 1,000 people, the stage was only about a foot tall, and it had 10 foot celings.... for 8 dollars a ticket. i caught 2 guitar pics from the members of fog hat and got to shake hands with lonesum dave after the show. then a 25 minute drive home to ft.worth. ah...what a night

Believe it or not, I've only been to 3 ever. ACDC in mid 90s for my younger brother's bday, Danzig at a smaller venue in the late 90s, and ZZ Top/Tom Petty in 2010. Not sure which I liked best

We did this thread a while back, but - what the Hell...

Strangely enough, it was a triple bill at the Shrine Auditorium (L,A.). I went to see the 3rd billed band, Triumvirat, a prog rock keyboard trio, and they were awesome.

2nd bill was Fleetwood Mac (the Bob Welch lineup), and they went overboard to top Triumvirat.

Headliners Jefferson Starship pulled out all the stops, including the luscious Grace Slick (in her prime, sexy form in those days) slithering on top of a grand piano belting out a torch song.

Strangely, none of these would be my 'favorite bands ever', but this really was the greatest concert ever. Truly a night to remember.

Worked for a venue after I retired so I've seen a bunch... but I'd have to say Ringo Starr's Allstar Band in the original line up with Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren and Burton Cummings was right up there and the Beach Boys 50th Anniversary Tour at Red Rocks were both packed with people I couldn't see in the sixties because of poverty and age, both shows were humbling and awesome. Favorite 'really nice' people I limoed were Buddy Guy, the Seattle Americana Band Marley's Ghost, Michael Franti, and Joan Osborne and her music director.

I can't remember the concert it was but it was my favorite because it was where my best friend and I told each other about our feelings for each other if you know what I mean

Best: The Who. The second best was Alice Cooper's (my first concert ever).

Chicago had just shortened their name from Chicago Transit Authority to Chicago. The real CTA said they could not use it. It was the fall of 1970. Anyway, they had just released their second LP and were still playing in college gymnasiums! No opening act, just played for hours with a short break in the middle. Tremendous show with real musicians.

I have already posted my 'best' concert, but another top tier performance was seeing Robin Trower at the Whisky A go-go on his Bridge of Sighs tour. I was used to bands mimicking their albums, but Trower outplayed the frenetic ebergy of his album. It was a tour-de-force performance. If I hadn't seen it, it would be labelled 'unbelievable.'

Sorry, I can't find any videos of the show.

Before I met my current husband I didn't go to alot of concerts but since then I have been to alot. Never thought I'd enjoy going to metal shows. Some honorable mentions are Nightwish, Delain, Volbeat, Godsmack, Metallica, Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper.
I enjoyed Black Sabbath very much but the top of the list has to be Rammstein.
