Kylie Kelce Reveals the Part of Her Michelle Obama Interview Her Team Edited Out: 'Did Me a Solid'

Though Kylie Kelce might have appeared cool as a cucumber during her podcast interview with Michelle Obama, the mother of four admits she was anything but. 

In an episode of Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce released on Thursday, April 10 — previously tapped, as Kelce welcomed her daughter Finn on March 30 and is currently on maternity leave — a listener asked how Kelce kept her cool while interviewing the former First Lady. 

“First of all, Tristan, the editing team behind Not Gonna Lie did me a solid,” Kelce said, laughing. “I had to wipe my upper lip sweat multiple times. Multiple times. Okay?” 

The Philadelphia native added, “A lot of fans were shocked that we got Michelle Obama. Girl, same. Guys, I still can't wrap my head around it.”

Elsewhere on the podcast, Kylie shared her admiration for Michelle and how she carries herself, noting that she voted for Michelle’s husband Barack Obama in her first ever election. And when one commenter on her Not Gonna Lie account commented with a vomiting emoji, Kylie stepped in to quickly shut down the negativity. 

“Hi Dana. We actually don’t do this here. If you have nothing nice to say just keep scrolling,” Kelce wrote, garnering over 5,000 likes.

Kelce’s episode with Obama was released on March 20, and the two podcasters connected over their roles as mothers and having famous husbands.

Kylie and her retired NFL star husband Jason Kelce welcomed their fourth child — daughter Finnley Anne Kelce — last month. Little Finn joins big sisters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2. 

Though she recorded a postpartum episode of her podcast with baby Finn in her arms, Kylie has since gone on maternity leave, releasing pre-recorded episodes as she spends time with her newest family member. 

During her postpartum episode, Kylie got candid about her intrusive thoughts and normalizing different mothers’ varying postpartum experiences. 

“You can have these thoughts and feelings, you can have these anxious moments, you can have this rage – experience this range of emotion, or even a step further, an actual mood disorder postpartum, but you can still love your child and be happy that your child is here and be happy to be a mother and to be grateful for the experience," Kylie previously noted.
